So far, all of the Five Nights at Freddy’s games have been jump scare, atmospheric horror games. You perform some minor actions and attempt to survive nights with scary animatronic animals. But Scott Cawthon’s next game related to the series will be FNAF World , a RPG starring the characters and inspired by the actions.
Most interesting is that FNAF World isn’t a horror game. All of the forms of the various Five Nights at Freddy’s characters will be in it, though, so maybe that will make it a little scary? We’ll have to wait and see.
Cawthon wanted to have a demo ready for the PC, iOS, and Android game by Halloween, but it won’t be ready by then. A release date is also unavailable.
