Four DLC Packs Planned For Call of Duty: Ghosts in 2014

Four DLC Packs Planned For Call of Duty: Ghosts in 2014

As if you didn’t already have enough FPS fragging fun on your plate, Call of Duty: Ghosts will no doubt keep you busy in 2014 with four new DLC packs.

Onslaught is the first out of the gate, which will feature four new maps and episode 1 of Extinction ’s four-part episodic narrative. “We know our fans have an appetite for new gameplay content all year long and the team here is committed to delivering a full season’s worth of amazing new maps, weapons and more, starting with Onslaught in January. This year will see an assortment of content for players to dig into, with new, uniquely themed maps, new multiplayer weapons and an episodic Extinction story arc that introduces new characters, new locations and new weapons as they try to uncover the genesis of the aliens’ existence.” said Mark Rubin (Executive Producer at Infinity Ward) via a press release.

Although Call of Duty has been known to think outside the box regarding its game content in the past (Zombies for example), they may have outdone themselves with this latest DLC. Believe it or not, the map “Fog” actually allows gamers to take on the persona of one of horrors most iconic villains: Michael Myers ( get more info here ). The other three maps include:  “BayView”, a close-quarters map set on a coastal Californian boardwalk; “Containment”, which  transports players to a war-torn Mexican village, where the battle rages along both banks of the dried out riverbed and “Ignition”, that sees players launched into an aging Florida space launch facility.

Onslaught will be available on the 28 th exclusively on Xbox One and 360 (with Devastation, Invasion and Nemesis following later in the year) as part of the Ghosts season pass.
