Google Play Games Implementing Capture and Share Features

Google Play Games Implementing Capture and Share Features

Let’s Plays, game streams, video capturing, and commentary have turned into a huge thing, and Google has noticed. Some of the highest paid YouTube stars are gamers, and Minecraft streams have brought in millions of dollars for a lucky few. Soon you’ll have your chance at YouTube stardom, even if you don’t have a bunch of fancy capturing equipment and enormous hard drives.

Google Play Games is launching a new record and share feature. It’ll be as simple as opening any game you want to play through the Google Play Games app and hitting record. You’ll be able to record in 480p or 720p, and if you want to you can use your phone or tablet’s front-facing camera and microphone to record video and commentary. When you’re done recording you can edit and upload your video to YouTube, all within the app. These features are going to be rolled out very shortly so if you think you have what it takes to become a Game of War YouTube star and end up in a commercial with Kate Upton, keep an eye out for the update.
