Despite garnering critical acclaim, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars has not gotten the kind of sales numbers Rockstar Games would like to see. Naturally, Rockstar has decided to bring the game the App Store, making it available for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch users. The game is available for download now and costs a mere $9.99 – that’s a big discount over the DS and PSP versions. The App Store version will include the high resolution graphics found on the PSP version, but will also integrate the touch controls from the DS. We’re especially intrigued by the inclusion of a new radio station, Independence Radio, which allows players to bring their own tunes into the game. The only thing that has us nervous is the virtual analog stick that will have to be used throughout much of the game.
