Back when Hyrule Warriors came to the Wii U, there was an artbook that showed concept art of a female version of Link. Named Linkle, she wielded dual crossbows, but otherwise looked a lot like the Link we know and love. During the November 12 Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that she will make her debut in Hyrule Warriors Legends on the 3DS.
Linkle grew up in a town filled with Cuccos (no word on if she practiced her shooting on them). She uses the two crossbows in battle, but also has a spin-kick attack that mirrors Link’s sword spin.
Hyrule Warriors Legends will come to the 3DS on March 26, 2016 and bring Linkle along with it. Who’s excited? I certainly am!
