Ever since the first game, DC Comics has been running an Injustice tie-in series that has taken the already bizarre concept and taken it to places the writers at NetherRealm could only have dreamed of. Now, DC is getting ready to drop a new miniseries that crams the world of Injustice into that of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe . Sure!
The miniseries is six issues long, a pretty typical length for limited runs, and the basic story will see Batman of the Injustice world join forces with the likes of He-Man, Teela, Orko, and Battlecat to keep up the long-running fight against the evil, Injustice version of Superman.
The series’ title is Injustice vs. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (surprise!). Tim Seely ( Nightwing, Green Lanters ) is writing the book, and Freddie E. Williams II ( He-Man/Thundercats, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ) is the very crossover-familiar artist. The series will launch on July 18, and is a joint publish by DC and Mattel.
Meanwhile, the Injustice comic is still running, with Injustice 2 #24 launching this week.
