Here’s some good news for video game collectors looking to pick up the new NetherRealm’s fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. A special Collector’s Edition will be sold in limited quantities, retailing for $99.99.
The Collector’s Edition will come with a DC Collectibles statue featuring Batman and Wonder Woman, the Fortress of Solitude, and the ship that Superman came to earth in. It stands over a foot tall and features both injected and hand-painted detail.
The Collector’s Edition also comes with a special issue of a “brand new DC comic’s series” though what this series is hasn’t been revealed. In addition, everyone who purchases the Collector’s Edition will receive a special download code for the DC Universe animated movie, Justice League: Doom, as well as three exclusive character skins for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman based off The New 52.
In short, you get a lot of extras for your extra fifty-dollar investment, and we all know how comic book geeks like extras. So clean out space in your classy case for the statue, because we all know every collector worth his salt will be picking up the Collector’s Edition.
