Little Big Adventure Redux Revealed

Little Big Adventure Redux Revealed

None

Good Old Games occasionally gets the opportunity to interview the developers of the classic games and series they host on their DRM-free website. The most recent, with the creators of Little Big Adventure/Relentless and its sequel Little Big Adventure 2/Twinsen’s Odyssey, started off with a bang.

The LBA Team told GOG, “We are working on the remake of LBA1 🙂 Individually, we are involved in other projects we can’t tell.”

For those who never played them, the Little Big Adventure games were French adventure games that found their way around Europe and over to the United States. They’re whimsical, clever affairs with charming designs and brain-teasing puzzles, unafraid to mix fantasy and science fiction together as they see fit. The hallmark of the series, though, has always been the main character’s “attitude,” which can be changed to focus him on attack or defense, as is appropriate to the situation. His main weapon being a ball, he throws it differently depending on his attitude.

No word, as of yet, on when the remake can be expected, but just the news that it exists as a thing makes today a happier day.
