Man Creates Hilarious Destiny Auto Leveling Device

Man Creates Hilarious Destiny Auto Leveling Device

There have been a lot of interesting ways to level up your character in Destiny what with all of it’s loot caves and infinite spawn points. However, this recently discovered method is probably the most hilarious.

Reddit user Yavin427 taped two simple servomotors to his Xbox One controller. The motors basically had him repeatedly melee, while he shoots, and sometimes moves a short distance through another servo motor tugging on the analog sticks. This makes it appear as if his character is relatively stupid, but active.

He puts himself at a spawn location on Ocean of Storms, and simply lets enemies rush him. The enemies will likely kill him, but not until he takes out a few. He then respawns in a predictable place, which is still within distance of the spawn to start the loop all over again. Over one night he killed 3600 enemies and died 900 times, which is a horrible ratio compared to human playing. But remember, absolutely no effort was spent. He simply slept the night away as his character grew from level 16 to level 26.

It’s kind of a funny Rube Goldberg way of leveling and it’s mostly done for the laughs, but this brings back awesome memories of taping down buttons on SNES controllers in old Final Fantasies. We salute you for your ingenuity good sir.

What his titan, auto-punchbro in action here.
