Since its inception, the Mass Effect series has been a single-player experience. However, fans have always speculated that the series would make the leap to multiplayer eventually, though perhaps not in the near future. That’s why it came as no surprise that a Bioware official shut down fan speculation in the official Mass Effect forums about multiplayer in the upcoming third entry.  What did come as a surprise, however, was that another high-ranking official redacted the statement and changed the official response from “Mass Effect is a single-player experience” to “BioWare does not comment on rumors or speculation. Could this be a signal that Mass Effect 3 will indeed have multiplayer content? |
