Finally, we have some actual Pokemon Sun & Moon news! The Pokemon Company had a special presentation this morning on YouTube where we were hoping to get any little nugget of new information about the upcoming Pokemon game(s), and hopefully a trailer. Our patience paid off, as we not only got some new info and a release date, but two trailers: one in English (which you can view here ) and one in Japanese (which I’ll embed below).
Pokemon Sun & Moon will launch on November 18, whisking you away to a tropical paradise called Alola – which looks like a Hawaiian island – just in time for the cold winter season. We also get a good look at our three starter Pokemon: Rowlet, an adorable grass / flying-type owl thing, Litten the badass fire-kitty, and Popplio, an ugly-as-sin dog / seal / clown / Rudolph hybrid that I can’t wait to reject. Who will you be choosing as your starter Pokemon, and which version do you think you’ll pick up? While I have a strange infatuation with the moon, that Sun legendary looks pretty irresistible.
