Microsoft is teasing some of the excellent deals we can expect in the days leading up to Black Friday (it feels wrong to capitalize that), and so far they look very promising. We don’t have a full list of games yet, but the video showcases some awesome titles like Forza 6, The Witcher 3, Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Shadows of Mordor, and more, with promises of discounts on over 150 games ranging from 40-60% off.
The deals start on November 24, but here’s the hook: if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member the deals start on November 20, and November 20-30 you can get your first month of Xbox Live Gold for just $1. Very smooth move, guys. Microsoft has made it clear that console sales won’t be the measure of success going into the future. The console war was a little too punishing.
