Minecraft is a great game, and people who are really dedicated to the experience sometimes subscribe to Minecraft Realms. It’s a service that, for $7.99 a month, lets people have a private server. It’s a way of letting you enjoy the game any way you like, with the people you choose. This has only been available for the Windows and Mac versions of the game, but now will be coming to mobile versions as well.
Mojang has announced Minecraft Realms for both Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition . People will get to subscribe for their own servers eventually. Though, for right now, a free alpha is running for people with Android devices. All you have to do is have the appropriate version of the game and sign up to be a tester .
It’s amazing how close the mobile Minecraft experience can be to the full one. It’s encouraging, too! It means you get an enjoyable game that doesn’t lose much in the transition and still offers the same level of social interaction.
