The newest Mortal Kombat X characters have been teased for quite a while. We’ve seen ambiguous shadows of uncertain men, wondering who will join the fighting game next. At this year’s Game Awards, the newest combatants were revealed. Two horror movie villains and two returning cast members will be joining the fight in the Kombat Pack 2 add-on.
Let’s kick this off with a trailer showing the four new guys.
From the movies, we have the Xenomorph alien from Alien and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre . This means we can reenact Alien vs. Predator , since the Predator is already in Mortal Kombat X. And surely Leatherface will find a friend in Jason from Friday the 13th .
The classic characters are a little more interesting. One of them is Bo’ Rai Cho, a Drunken Fist master who has been in the games since Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. The other is the more interesting Tri-Borg. Tri-Borg is Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke in one robot. I wonder which moves from each character will make it through for him?
All of these characters will be added in the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 DLC. A price hasn’t been set, and we don’t know exactly when in 2016 they’ll appear to join the fight.
