An email sent early this morning from Xbox Flash has a subject line that reads “Look for the signs, the keepers of the flame”. This is obviously (too much so) viral marketing on the part of Microsoft for Halo 3, although it is arguable that it is unnecessary at this point, as there is Halo 3 news on nearly a daily basis.
Here is a sample stanza from the enigmatic poem:
Closing in from all sides,
Moving faster than the light
it snuffs with its passage,
Time echoes with the news of destruction.
History winding back upon itself.
