A few days ago, the information embargo on Ms. Fortune, the newest Skullgirls character was lifted, and fans flooded the forums, asking head developer Mike Z to answer all their Fortune related questions. This is all the info we have seen so far. Ms. Fortune is an immortal catgirl. There is nothing about that statement I don’t like. Unfortunately, the mafia found her and cut her body into pieces, but they only did this AFTER she became immortal, so it was really nothing more than a small inconvenience. Thus, Fortune’s play-style involves taking herself apart in the middle of battle and attacking her enemies with her individual bits. 
As for Fortune’s aesthetic style, most of her moves involve tearing her body apart in certain ways. There is one move she uses where she tangles you up in a yarn ball of muscle and connective tissue, and her air dashes are fueled by letting her spurt blood from her body like rocket. She’s not a character for the squeamish, but she seems pretty fun to play nonetheless. By Angelo D’Argenio |
