Next PSP to Feature Dual Thumbsticks?

None

According to PocketGamer, as picked up by IGN, the newest PSP, rumored to be in development, is speculated to also have dual thumbsticks.

By now you’ve likely seen the fan-generated picture of the next-gen PSP. It sports a large, sliding face and dual thumbsticks. It seems to be more and more of a prescient vision. Rumors also tout the possibility of a touch screen as indicated by patent filing drawings. Below the jump you’ll find the touch screen patent drawing as well as the fan mock-up.

Other recent rumors have the next PSP dropping the UMD format in favor of cart or even downloadable software. It seems Sony has become enamored with Apple’s App Store. Thus, the next PSP might be the next iPhone/iPod Touch killer.
