According to PocketGamer, as picked up by IGN, the newest PSP, rumored to be in development, is speculated to also have dual thumbsticks. By now you’ve likely seen the fan-generated picture of the next-gen PSP. It sports a large, sliding face and dual thumbsticks. It seems to be more and more of a prescient vision. Rumors also tout the possibility of a touch screen as indicated by patent filing drawings. Below the jump you’ll find the touch screen patent drawing as well as the fan mock-up. Other recent rumors have the next PSP dropping the UMD format in favor of cart or even downloadable software. It seems Sony has become enamored with Apple’s App Store.
