The temperatures may be plummeting outside as we sink deeper into December, but Nintendo’s download offerings are heating up this week! Although WiiWare only has one title releasing this week, the DSiWare store gets a double dose of adventure-style games.

Descriptions of the offerings follow:


WiiWare

  • Inkub (Cosmonaut Games, 1 Player, 500 Points): The objective of the game is to defend an incubator containing a growing specimen. To do this, you will be provided with different weapons and powers that will help you destroy, pause, or block these enemies. These threats will try to enter the incubator through the Plasma tubes that connect it with the life-giving energy that makes them grow.

    • DSiWare

  • Cosmo Fighters (Abylight, 1-4 Players, 500 Points): Out in space there’s a battle to fight, but before you meet your fate, train yourself against the CPU to master all the tricks and combos. Either one-on-one or against a bully group of three, all your training will pay off once you challenge your friends and foes.
  • Paul’s Monster Adventure (Agetex, 1 Player, 500 Points): Prepare to embark on an epic adventure and enter a land where monsters known as bosses once ruled with an iron fist. The local inhabitants have rebelled against the bosses by stealing their food supply. Slowly the bosses are dying from starvation, and it is up to you to save them.
