It wasn’t exactly clear when Blizzard would be bringing back the Overwatch closed beta. The December event went well, but it was unclear when the next testing phase would take part in 2016. While it seemed like January would be a good fit, it’s going to fall in February.
Blizzard has pushed the next Overwatch closed beta into next month to make sure it’s ready for people. In addition to other fixes, tweaks, and adjustments based on feedback from December’s beta, Blizzard is going to add an extra mode to the game.
The actual mode’s identity is a mystery. It’s inclusion means the February Overwatch closed beta will have three. The other two are Payload and Point Capture.
Blizzard is still saying Overwatch will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC in June 2016. Here’s hoping all the betas go well so that happens!
