Another day, another Plants vs. Zombies game. And a superhero-related property too, when you think about it. EA is capitalizing on the success of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, all those hero movies, and mobile games like Hearthstone in the hopes of tapping into mobile gamers’ free time. It’s Plants vs. Zombies Heroes : The Lawn of a New Battle .

Plants vs. Zombies Heroes is a strategy and card game. You use various plant and zombie characters to defeat your opponent, with each one being laid down having its own abilities. So far, EA has introduced Green Shadow , Grass Knuckles , and Solar Flare on the “Plants” side. The “Zombies” have Impfinity , Super Brainz, and Electric Boogaloo representing them. I think Green Shadow looks like the best.
We’ll see Plants vs. Zombies Heroes on iOS and Android devices this year. Let’s hope it isn’t too much of a cash-grab.
