PlayStation Store Celebrates 10th Anniversary With a Sale

PlayStation Store Celebrates 10th Anniversary With a Sale

How do you celebrate 10 years of a digital storefront existing as a means to acquire games? You hold a massive sale! Sony has announced a PlayStation Store 10th Anniversary Sale. It’s a two-parter, folks! Round one is this week and lasts until the PlayStation Store updates on November 15, and round two goes from November 15-22.

Discounts for non-PlayStation Plus members are up to 60% off, while PlayStation Plus subscribers can get up to 70% off of games. PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita games are all reduced, with quite a few cross-buy titles available. There are some great games there, too. Bloodborne’ s Complete Edition Bundle, normally $50, is $25 for regular shoppers and $20 for PlayStation Plus users. Far Cry 4 and Zombi, also usually $50, are $24/$30, depending on your plan. And Vita owners should really check out XCOM: Enemy Unknown Plus, normally $20, is $5/7, depending on who you are. The full list is on the PlayStation Blog .

I think the best parts of this PlayStation Store 10th Anniversary Sale are the freebies. Every PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owner gets a 10th anniversary theme. Those who’ve had a PlayStation Network account for over nine and a half years get a free avatar. Aren’t those neat badges of honor?
