Dogmeat is great, right? He’s easily the best of the Fallout 4 followers. But what if you want another sort of “animal” companion? Would you prefer a Deathclaw you could pretend is Deathmeat? Because there’s a Fallout 4 mod for that.
It’s all thanks to BOTLANNER’s work on Creature Follower . Grab this mod and you’ll be able to have a Deathclaw friend without having to earn a perk that will intimidate one into recognizing your authority. In addition to a Deathclaw, you can also have a cat, gorilla, mutant hound, radscorpion, super mutant behemoth, or yao guai. Two different kinds of dogs and synths are also available. You can have them carry items, talk to them, and everything.
Perhaps the best part of this Fallout 4 mod is that one of these beasts doesn’t “count” as a follower. So you can have a Deathclaw and Dogmeat. It’s the best of both worlds! Naturally, it only works with the Windows PC version of the game, and the page on Nexus Mods tells you how to install it.
