Resident Evil 7 Demo Now Available on PC

The latest game in the seminal horror series shambles ever-closer to its January 24 release date. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard received a playable demo called Beginning Hour on PlayStation 4 earlier this year, which was subsequently updated twice before making it to Xbox One on December 9. It now arrives for one final platform: PC.

Beginning Hour is now available to download on Steam. In terms of content, it doesn’t offer anything different from the PS4/Xbox One demos, but it does include an array of graphical options. These include settings for ambient occlusion, chromatic aberration, bloom, dynamic shadows, lens flare, volumetric lighting, and more. If you’ve got a monster (heh) of a graphics card, it sounds like you’ll be able to run the game just as well as a PS4 Pro.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in just over a month. It also supports PlayStation VR for an extra-spooky experience.
