Yesterday, Harmonix revealed a brand new rhythm game called Rock Band Blitz. The game will be a downloadable title for the XBLA/PSN and will do away with all your Rock Band instruments. Instead, the gameplay will be similar to portable title Rock Band Unplugged. The game will be completely controlled with a traditional controller, and will task you with switching between instruments as your own one-man band. The title will launch with twenty-five tracks. However, players will also have access to any Rock Band DLC that they may have purchased over the year. The game also has the Rock Band Music Store integrated in to allow you to purchase even more DLC. That means there are potentially over 3,500 tracks to strum your fingers off to. As an additional bonus, the twenty five tracks that come with the game will act as DLC content for Rock Band 3. By simply purchasing the game the songs will be added to the Rock Band 3 track list.
