The highly anticipated sequel to Red Dead Revolver, Red Dead Redemption, from Rockstar Games is set for release in North America on April 27, 2009 and launching worldwide on April 30, 2009. Red Dead Redemption will have players take on the role of John Marston a “partially reformed outlaw” at the turn of the 20 th century (the twilight of the Wild West) who has been “blackmailed by the government, [and had] his family threatened as he is forced to traverse the vast and unforgiving expanses of the Western frontier in search of members of his former gang.” We know Rockstar’s been hard at work at this one – determined to prove their more than a one-trick pony – so we’re quite interested for this one.
