Shadow Era Expansion Shattered Fates Passes Kickstarter Halfway Point

Shadow Era Expansion Shattered Fates Passes Kickstarter Halfway Point

Wulven Game Studios was proud to announce yesterday that its kickstarter campaign for Shadow Era – Shattered Fates , an anticipated expansion to Wulven’s Shadow Era universe, has successfully passed its halfway point of $34,267 (at the time of writing) out of its $50,000 goal.

For those of you who aren’t in the know, Shadow Era –in a nutshell–is a free-to-play fantasy Trading Card Game where players, much like in real-life TCGs, compete against each other using cards and strategy to try to overthrow one another.

Since its initial release, Shadow Era has attracted over four million registered players and across its series it currently boasts 350. With the addition of Shattered Fates , which promises 200 new and unique cards (which include 10 new hero cards), the series will have a total of 550 unique cards.

Shattered Fates offers its players and supporters several improvements to the Shadow Era base game, such as an updated interface, player auctions, campaign mode, an improved deck builder, player profiles, guilds and leagues, and an automated tournament system.

In the campaign mode, every hero will have their own campaign to follow (which in turn reveals more about their backstory), and improvements to the interface include an overhauled 3D battlefield. The tournament system includes constructed, draft and meltdown tournaments, and the player auctions will allow players to trade their cards for gold, operating similarly to a how a stock market works. Player profiles pretty much speaks for itself; player profiles lets players show off their statistics, badges and titles, and the new deck builder makes it easier for players to construct their own decks with new features that make the process seamless.

If you’re interested in backing Shadow Era – Shattered Fates , you can head on over to its Kickstarter page here , where you may find further information on the title or donate if you so wish.
