In a bit of news that I would certainly file under the “didn’t see that comin’” category, it looks like a new add-on will give players armor themed around the PlayStation exclusive Shadow of the Colossus .
For those who may not remember, Shadow’ was a game dominated by enormous, mountain sized creatures. The player would have to traverse each in a different fashion, trying to determine its weak points in order to defeat them (literally scaling them during battle). Now, this skin comes ahead of the PS4 launch (and will be available to anyone who owns the PS3 or PS4 versions).
A PC update was also launched as well. According to the official site, the 2.0.6 patch will address a variety of issues, one of which involves a change in crafting. “Legendary crafted items are meant to be…a stepping stone into end game items…While we like the fantasy of having the unique crafting materials, obtaining them was either keeping too many people from being able to complete the recipes in a timely manner or encouraging game flipping and similar less than ideal patterns…As such, we are removing the requirement for unique items when crafting Legendaries.” Reads the official details.
