Shadowrun for Xbox 360 Now Playable on Xbox One

Shadowrun for Xbox 360 Now Playable on Xbox One

The resurgence of the Shadowrun franchise in recent years led to some genuinely good PC RPGs, including Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun: Dragonfall. Before that, however, was a 2007 first-person shooter published by Microsoft Game Studios. Simply titled Shadowrun , it was a multiplayer-only affair loosely based on the series’ lore, and was one of the earliest games to feature cross-play between Xbox 360 and PC.

Reception to the game was mixed, but if you were one of its dedicated fans back when it released, you’ll be pleased to know that Shadowrun is now playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Presumably, you’ll still be able to play online against other users. Two other games, Shotest Shogi and Space Ark , were also added to the backwards compatibility list today.

Shadowrun is also available to purchase digitally for $15. For the full list of Xbox 360 games you can play on Xbox One, check out the list here .
