Rumors of a rumbling Sixaxis controller have been over the internet for a while now, and apparently a mistake by the EA booth at the Tokyo Game Show has confirmed that the controller exists.
At the Burnout Paradise booth at the Tokyo Game Show, reports are coming in that the controllers EA is using to demo the game actually rumble like the Dualshock controllers of old. Since Sony has yet to announce a Sixaxis with the rumble feature, this appears to be an oversight on EA’s part.
The controller apparently has much more weight than the current Sixaxis controller and rumbles in a similar fashion to the Dualshock, but looks exactly the same as the current Sixaxis.
Expect a formal announcement from Kaz Harai during his TGS keynote speech soon.
