United States Congressman Joe Baca (D-California) is working on passing a bill that will require video games with a rating of T or higher to have this warning printed on them: “WARNING: Excessive exposure to violent video games and other violent media has been linked to aggressive behavior.”

The bill is called House Resolution 400, or H.R. 400 for short, and is similar to the Video Game Health Labeling Act of 2009, which Baca was embarrassingly unsuccessful with. However, H.R. 400 seems like it’s being taken a little bit more serious.

While parents need to be careful about which games they let their children play, scientific studies have failed to find any correlation between aggressive behavior and video games.
