Remember how the Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 game was going to come out on a day that had meaning? It was supposed to appear on August 8, the first birthday of the series. Well, it’s already available now for $7.99.
It turns out that Scott Cawthon finished the game. Instead of making people wait for the first game in the series to involve actually exploring a house filled with these horrifying animatronics, he went ahead and put Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 on Steam .
The free Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is still scheduled for a Halloween 2015 release. We’ll have to wait and see if Cawthon honors that release date, or decides to put the extra content out on the anniversary of the original Five Nights at Freddy’s ‘ debut.
