Anyone on the internet can download it and play it as much as they like without having to pay a cent. Not to worry though, nothing is going to change. You won’t see advertisements, or subscription fees, or anything else that might hinder the TF2 experience. The game will exist just as it does now, just in a much more zero-dollar capacity.
