Telltale’s Batman Gets Physical Release This September

Telltale’s Batman Gets Physical Release This September

If we can’t play Return to Arkham this year, then I suppose it’s up to Telltale to deliver our Batman fix in the meantime. Batman will span five episodes (pretty typical of Telltale games), the first of which is set to release digitally some time in August. We’re not quite sure when the first episode will be made available, but we expect Telltale to make that announcement at Comic Con in San Diego next week. The digital version will be available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Android, and iOS. While we may not know the official release date for the first digital release, we do know when the physical edition is coming.

Oh, by the way, Telltale is putting out a physical retail version of Batman as well, and it’s set to drop on September 13 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Similar to what we saw with Minecraft: Story Mode, the disc will contain the first episode of the series, along with a season pass that unlocks the following four episodes as they’re released. No word on price yet, or whether the physical version will be released for PC (no reason for that, really). Stay tuned to CheatCC – we’ll have more details for you next week when we hear more at Comic Con.
