Hollywood news site Deadline reports that the script for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie is going through a total rewrite. Adam Cooper and Bill Collage will rewrite the script, and Michael Fassbender is attached to star. Unfortunately, no other details about the movie are available at this time. No director, cast, release date, or plot details are available, although we do know that Ubisoft Motion Pictures and New Regency will be the studios behind the production.
This will be the third rewrite of the Assassin’s Creed movie script. The first one was written by British playwright Michael Lesslle, while the second one was written by Scott Frank, known for his work on Minority Report and The Wolverine . Cooper and Collage are known for writing the original script for Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings , as well as The General.
