Testing Cheats mode
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the “Commands.ini” file in the “Program FilesElectronic ArtsThe Sims MedievalGameDataSharedNonPackagedIni” directory after turning off its “Read Only” attribute. To do this, Right-click the “Commands.ini” file, select “Properties”, and uncheck “Read Only”. Then, open the file with a text editor, change the “TestingCheatsEnabled=0” line to “TestingCheatsEnabled=1″, and save the file. Start the game, and you will now be able to click and drag the Hunger, Energy, and Relationship bars to the left or right to adjust their values. Additionally, you can press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C, and type ” help ” at the console window to display additional cheats that are now available.
Change light colors
Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] in Furnish mode, and scroll over a light. The pointer should now resemble an asterisk. Click the light to bring up the “Turn off light”, “Set Intensity”, and “Change color” detailed light options.
Partial floor patterns
Select a floor pattern in Furnish mode. Hold [Shift] while hovering over the active floor, and Click to place a partial floor pattern. This allows you to place floor patterns in partial sections instead of entire grid squares.
