The Steam Summer Sale 2019 Has Begun

The Steam Summer Sale 2019 Has Begun

Dust off your PC controllers and get ready to empty your wallets. Valve has kicked off the latest Steam sale. The Steam Summer Sale 2019 is off to a quick start, and it will keep rolling until July 9, 2019. This time, people might have to shoot for a photo finish, as the event has a racing theme to it.

The racing theme means that there is a Grand Prix event running. This means that people first choose their team. (The Cockatiel, Corgi, Hare, Pig, and Tortoise teams are all available.) People can build up Boosts by completing quests in games or use the distributor. Random members of the top three teams each day will receive the first game on their wishlist for free, while random members of the winning teams overall at the end will also get that same reward. People also earn tokens for participating, which can be put toward new backgrounds for their profiles, emoticons, a badge, or a $5 discount on your next purchase.

As expected from any Steam sale, the Steam Summer Sale 2019 has tons of cheap games available. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is $29.99, while Devil May Cry 5 is $39.59. Someone could pick up the latest entry in the SoulCalibur series, SoulCalibur VI, for $19.79. A Hat in Time is only $14.99 right now, if you like indie games. Also, in an unsurprising move, the original Portal is only $0.99. There’s a lot of good here, if you take the time to look.
