Twitch Plays Pokemon Go Is the Latest Thing in Streaming

Twitch playing Pokemon is nothing new. We managed to beat Pokemon Red , after all (hail, Lord Helix). Since then, Twitch has gone through other installments like Pokemon Fire Red, Pokemon Black, Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon X, and many others. But now, we’ve found a new frontier. Now, we can partake in Twitch Plays Pokemon Go .

Servers permitting, Twitch Plays Pokemon Go lets people in the chat play via location spoofing. People vote in the chat to determine which direction to move in, to scroll around the screen, and throw Poke Balls. Considering this is a touchscreen game, that it can be played in such a way is pretty cool!

Twitch Plays Pokemon Go began in New York’s Central Park. When I checked in, there were server issues, so who knows where they are now. Pop in when you can and see how it’s doing. Savor it, because who knows if Niantic could ban the account or attempt to shut down a hack like this.
