Two Dark Souls III Limited Editions Leaked

Two Dark Souls III Limited Editions Leaked

Sometimes stores accidentally leak game releases. It could be as simple as getting the promotional images for product listings and setting the pages live before they should. That’s probably what happened with Geekay Games when it apparently leaked the Dark Souls III Collector and Prestige Editions, two limited edition bundles of the game on November 9. The pages were pulled, but the information lives on.

The Collector and Prestige Editions of Dark Souls III are quite similar. Both include a copy of the game, hardcover artbook, cloth map, three iron-on patches, a metal case, and soundtrack. The difference is in the statues. The Collector Edition comes with a 26cm tall Red Knight statue, while the Prestige Edition has a 40cm Lord of Cinder. Pricing has yet to be confirmed for both editions.

Dark Souls III doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but Bandai Namco says it’ll be out in April 2016. The leaked images say it will be out in Europe on April 12, 2016.
