I’m a big fan of the LEGO games. They’re simple, and a lot of fun to play with any range of people, from avid games to the mostly uninitiated. They also have licenses for pretty much every property imaginable and do a great job of mixing fan service with compelling gameplay. The upcoming LEGO Marvel’s Avengers already has a lot going for it, but fans may be excited to learn that two DLC packs have already been officially announced.
The first DLC pack will be available at launch and will be titled the Civil War Character Pack. It will feature 9 additional characters: Captain America, Iron Man (Mark 46 Armor), Winter Soldier, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Agent 13, Crossbones, Black Panther, and Falcon.
The second pack, which will be released at a later date will be called the Ant-Man Character and Level Pack. Unsurprisingly, it will feature characters from Ant-Man as well as an exclusive level. The characters in this one are: Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Ant-Man (Hank Pym), Ant-Thony, Darren Cross, Cassie Lang, Hank Pym, Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Luis, The Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), and Yellow Jacket.
LEGO Marvel’s Avengers will release in North America on January 26.
