October is a pretty good month for Pokemon fans. Two Pokemon distribution events have begun. People with Pokemon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire, and Omega Ruby can get both Keldeo and Volcanion this month. Which is great, because that means two legendaries you can transfer into Pokemon Sun and Moon next month.
Keldeo is available right now. You grab your copy of one of the four games above, head to Mystery Gift from the main menu, and download Keldeo from the internet. It arrives at level 100 and knows Aqua Jet, Bubble Beam, Double Kick, and Leer. Its Justified ability raises its attack when a Dark move hits it. I recommend taking it to a move trainer so you can get Secret Sword, which changes it to its Resolute form.
Volcanion will be available beginning October 10. GameStop will be carrying cards with codes you can redeem via Mystery Gift in all four of those games. This is a “while supplies last” sort of situation. It is at level 70 and knows Explosion, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, and Steam Eruption. Its Water Absorb ability heals it when a water move hits it. Also, it arrives with an Assault Vest that boosts its defense, but keeps it from using moves that don’t deal damage.
Both of these legendary Pokemon seem pretty awesome. I’d recommend grabbing them immediately, before you forget!
