Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced yesterday that they are set to open a comics-specific video game development studio in Montreal, Quebec. Montreal is becoming more and more a major North American video game development hub, with attractive tax rules and a well-qualified talent pool/work force from which companies can draw. Warner Bros. Interactive aspires to grow the new studio to provide work for some 300 employees; expect a lot of high-quality comics video games, in the vein of Batman: Arkham Asylum, to release year after year.
