SEGA has confirmed that Yakuza 4, originally released exclusively in Japan under the name Ryu ga Gotoku 4, is headed to North America after all. Yakuza 3 was a fun brawler with an in-depth storyline that released for the PlayStation 3 back on March 9th. It received fairly high critical praise and the series has garnered a rather rabid fan following in the West. Consequently, SEGA decided localizing the fourth entry seemed like a good idea. Interestingly, Yakuza 4 won’t just follow the exploits of series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. Apparently, three other playable characters will also be available: Masayoshi Tanimura, Shun Akiyama, and Taiga Saejima .More details are on their way, as SEGA plans on discussing the game at greater length at E3 2010.  |
