Do you know who Yasumi Matsuno is? He’s the brilliant designer behind games like Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy XII, and Tactics Ogre. Well, he has a new home now over at Level-5, the makers of Professor Layton and White Knight Chronicles. He joined up at the request of head honcho Akihiro Hino. Matsuno says that he wants to make “speedy” games, “something that his fans’ nieces and nephews can enjoy,” and games filled with story over at his new home. That’s great news for all of us, except we probably won’t end up seeing sequels for the games he made with Square.
