Easy “Ashes To Ashes” and “Wild Fire” achievements

In Mission 4: Proxy War — Objective: Secure Armory, during the first big enemy encounter, there is a helicopter landing in the middle of the area. As soon as you see a helicopter in the air, quickly run straight to it. This is best done on the Recruit difficulty so the enemies do not kill you on the way. If you are quick enough, you will reach the helipad before the helicopter lands on it. Then, simply throw a Molotov at it. If you do not get to the helicopter in time, restart the checkpoint (or the mission) to try again. Molotovs are your default throwable in this mission. Note: You can also get the “Ashes To Ashes” achievement for burning four enemies with a single Molotov. The helicopter will drop off four soldiers on the helipad. After they have landed on the ground, throw a Molotov on the floor between them. This must be timed correctly — you cannot allow them any time to run away. If done correctly, all four will start to burn simultaneously. They do not have to die from it — the Molotov’s fire just has to hurt them to get the achievement. If it does not work, restart the checkpoint and try again. It may take a few attempts, as you must get the timing perfect.

Easy “Circus Tour” achievement

Mission 2: Piccadilly is basically just one huge town district. While the story wants you to go to the reading place, the two underground sections and Aural Chic (clothing store) are optional and you have to go out of your way to reach them. Each location has at least one enemy — kill them at the following locations:

    Underground 1: On the left side. There are two guys holding hostages down there — you must walk down the stairs and through underground tunnel to see them.

    Aural Chic: Clothing store on the right side — it has large “Aural Chic” neon signs. One guy holding hostages in there.

    Underground 2: On the right side. There is no enemy inside, but one guy in a bomb vest will run down the stairs. Kill him after he enters the underground, but try not to die. Shoot him in the head and quickly get away before his vest explodes.

    Reading Place: Big building in top left corner of the area — the story wants you to go there. There are multiple enemies in this area.

Easy “Companion Block” achievement

In Mission 3: Embedded — Objective: Get Through Building (early in the mission), you will reach a place where Farah (girl you are walking with) goes to the right and you must go left where the workers are and collect a cinder block. This is an unmissable story part, as you need to pick up the cinder block to get past the guards (they will think you are one of the workers). Take that same cinder block to the end of the mission. You are allowed to drop the block in every enemy section. You can shoot any enemies in your way. Then, before moving onto the next objective, remember to take the cinder block with you. Also, make sure you do not confuse it with other cinder blocks sitting on the floor. It is recommended to put it in memorable places where there are no other blocks. You can combine this achievement with the “Play Dead” achievement, which also takes place in this mission.

Easy “Dodged A Bullet” achievement

In Mission 11: Captive, after fighting through the first wave of enemies, you will reach an area with a sniper. A red laser will show you where he is aiming. The general strategy is to sprint-slide from cover to cover after you hear him fire a shot. At the start, go across the street behind the brick “house”. Take out all enemies that arrive in cars on the right side. Then, stay to the right side, sliding from one small cover to the next. As you get closer to the sniper, there is a bridge on the right side. Make sure you quickly slide over to the wall under the bridge. Stay against the wall so the sniper cannot hit you. Lay low as you go uphill, then wait for him to miss a shot and sprint-slide over to the building the sniper is in. When you enter, aim above to kill the sniper and get the “Dodged A Bullet” achievement. If you get hit by the sniper, you are allowed to restart the checkpoint.

Easy “Driver’s Ed” achievement

In Mission 8: Highway Of Death, approximately one third through the mission, you get the objective to stop a suicide truck. Just do what the game indicates and shoot the driver. There are some wooden boards in front of the windshield that you need to shoot off first. Hit those a few times. When the windshield is exposed, shoot the driver. This gets increasingly easier the closer he gets to you. Use Hadir’s sniper rifle that you are given at the start of the mission.

Easy “Golden Path” achievement

In Mission 5: Clean House, you must complete the mission while killing all killable enemies yourself using only one bullet per enemy to get the “Golden Path” achievement. You are not allowed to take any damage. If you make a mistake, you can use checkpoint restart (no need to use mission restart). This is a more complicated achievement than the description indicates. If you shoot some people in the wrong order or too early or let your teammates kill them, it can void the achievement. Look at the video and replicate it exactly floor by floor. This means killing all the enemies in the exact order shown in the video and letting them grab their weapons first. The areas that can be trouble and void the achievement are when you shoot the fake hostage before she draws a gun, and when you shoot the last woman too early or let Price kill her (must shoot her when Price says “Drop Her”).

Easy “Good Effect On Target” achievement

In Mission 6: Hunting Party, you automatically start with smoke grenades. After entering the hospital, there is an enemy bleeding out on a sickbed in the left room (left of the tripwire in the corridor). He is bleeding out and in “Last Stand” mode. Quickly rush to him and throw a smoke grenade at him for an instant kill. If you take too long, he will bleed out or your teammates might kill him.

Easy “Got Something On Your Face” achievement

At the start of Mission 11: Captive, Barkov will escort you from your prison cell to an interrogation chair. When you see four dialogue choices, click the Right Analog-stick to spit in his face and get the “Got Something On Your Face” achievement. Do not select any of the dialogue choices.

Easy “Hang Time” achievement

In Mission 10: The Wolf’s Den, while inside the mine tunnels when you must push the second cart, grab the 1911 pistol under the cart. Then, climb up the burning ladders and shoot the enemies while on the ladders to get the “Hang Time” achievement. If something goes wrong, you can restart the checkpoint.

Easy “Hot Swap” achievement

In Mission 12: Old Comrades, grab the different weapons dropped by enemies and get a kill with each. There are many more than three weapons in this mission. From the first weapons box, you can choose from three weapons — grab the M19 (it is the rarest drop by enemies in this mission). At the end of the mission, you will enter a van where you find the M91 Machine Gun and RPG-7 Rocket Launcher. That is three weapons automatically given to you that you do not have to worry about — so you really just need to find five from enemies, which should be quite easy.

Easy “Lights Out” achievement

In Mission 13: Going Dark, you can use the power switches on the walls of the following four buildings to turn off the lights and get the “Lights Out” achievement.

    1. Objective: Find a way into Barkov’s Estate – After passing by the first group of enemies, Captain Price will point out a breaker box to you automatically (outside the first building you enter).

    2. Objective: Find Hadir – It is behind the Pool House (main objective).

    3. Objective: Find Hadir – It is to the front left of the Clocktower (main objective).

    4. Objective: Find Hadir – It is to the front right of the Church (main objective).

Easy “Long Way Down” achievement

In Mission 4: Proxy War — Objective: Secure Armory, during the first big enemy encounter, you will see two helicopters flying around. It is recommended to grab the “Kar98K” sniper rifle at the start of this mission (in the first room next to the staircase). Aim the sniper rifle at the pilot –- he will be outlined in red so he is easy to see. Shoot at the pilot to down the helicopter and get the “Long Way Down” achievement. If you do not get the achievement, immediately reload the checkpoint.

Easy “Love From Above” achievement

In Mission 7: The Embassy, after Captain Price gives you the drone laser pointer, you must climb the ladder to a roof. In the next section, shoot all the enemies (do not use the drone). After all enemies are cleared out, wait on the rooftop. A blue civilian vehicle will pass by the street on the left, ignore this one (do not fire the drone at it). After the blue civilian car has passed, the four enemy trucks for this achievement will start to appear. They are trucks with a manned turret on the back and enemies inside. You can only use one drone strike per vehicle. If you make a mistake, immediately restart the checkpoint. Timing is important, as you must aim about 5-10 meters in front of where the trucks are driving. It takes 1.5 seconds for the missile to hit the ground. Destroy all four trucks with one drone strike each to get the “Love From Above” achievement. You can equip the drone laser pointer by pressing [Up]. Truck 1 drives down the middle area. Truck 2 drives down the left street. Truck 3 drives down the middle area. Truck 4 drives down the middle area, and spawns 20 seconds after Truck 3.

Easy “Nothing But Net” achievement

In Mission 1: Fog Of War — Objective: Locate Barkov’s Gas, after you enter the enemy facility, two of your teammates will open up a door. Behind that door is a train yard and a machine gunner that will shoot from where a blue floodlight is. This is not a stationary machine gun — it is a person carrying a machine gun and shooting at you. First, clear out the other enemies. Then, go up the stairs to the left of the machine gunner. Get close to him and throw a grenade to instantly kill him and get the “Nothing But Net” achievement.

Easy “Pit Stop” achievement

At the end of Mission 8: Highway Of Death, some white smoke will be dropped on the left side of the highway and four APCs (armored vehicles) will appear. Equip Hadir’s Sniper Rifle (given to you at start of mission). The way you disable the APCs is by shooting off three tires (they have six total tires). After shooting three tires, the APC will come to a halt. Shoot off three tires per APC. You only need to do this to three of the four APCs to get the “Pit Stop” achievement. Start shooting as soon as they appear on the far left of the screen, and adjust your aim for bullet-drop and wind. If you feel like you are taking too long, immediately restart the checkpoint.

Easy “Play Dead” achievement

In Mission 3: Embedded — Objective: Follow Farah, after destroying the two helicopters with C4, follow Farah. You will reach a garden area with lots of dead bodies on the right side. Farah will lay down and tell you to do the same and stay still or else the enemies will spot you. However, do the opposite and kill all the enemies in this section. Make sure to bring some good fully automatic weapons (switch between weapons when the magazine is empty, as it is quicker than reloading). Start shooting the enemies as soon as the first one steps through the door on the other side –- this prevents them from grouping up on you. Also, make sure to set the difficulty to Recruit to reduce damage inflicted by the enemies. You can combine this achievement with the “Companion Block” achievement, which also takes place in the same mission.

Easy “Press [BOOM] To Defuse” achievement

In Mission 6: Hunting Party, there are more than three tripwires placed throughout the mission. You must throw frag grenades at them to blow them up, or use the rocket launcher attachment of your primary weapon. On your way to the hospital, there are two tripwires, and many more inside the hospital.

Easy “Trigger Discipline” achievement

In Mission 2: Piccadilly, you must complete the entire mission without shooting any civilians. Luckily, it is a short mission. This is best done on the Recruit difficulty so the enemies do not inflict much damage toward you and you can get really close to them. Stand in front of them and aim at their feet so the bullets do not keep flying or accidentally hit a civilian. You will get the “Trigger Discipline” achievement at the end of the mission (after sacrificing the bomb vest hostage to save the other hostages).

Easy “Tunnel Rat” achievement

In Mission 10: The Wolf’s Den, after you enter the tea room and open the hatch on the floor, there will be a mid-mission cutscene. You will then drop down to a dark tunnel area. This is where the achievement starts (before the tunnels you are still allowed to use other weapons). After this point, only use the 1911 pistol. You will automatically hold it in your hands after the tunnel cutscene. You also get new ammo for it, in case you use up your previous 1911 ammo. However, you still cannot spray bullets unnecessarily, as there is not too much ammo. It is recommended to play on the Recruit difficulty and only perform headshots. There are also ammo drops throughout the tunnels. Just avoid running out of ammo and do not shoot any other weapon. After defusing the cables at the end of the mission, you will get the “Tunnel Rat” achievement.

Easy “Two Birds” achievement

At the end of Mission 9: Hometown, when you have to sneak through the poppies to steal a truck, there will be two soldiers in that area. Lay low in the poppies and press [Up] after the prompt appears on the screen/when your brother reaches the end of the hill. This will call your brother’s phone, which distracts the enemies. They will walk over there. Walk behind them and grab the revolver from the table in the middle of the area. Climb onto the table, line up both enemies and shoot. It does not have to be a headshot. Aiming at their torso or any body part will do, as the bullet will go through both them. The game also creates a checkpoint right after grabbing the revolver — so you can retry if needed.

Easy “Wall Hax” achievement

In Mission 5: Clean House, Alpha 3-2 is the codename of one of your teammates called “Sgt. Madden”. In this mission, you will go through a dark house and must shoot all the enemies hiding behind doors. When you go up the stairs to the second floor, there will be a door on the right side. You must shoot through this door before your teammates walk past it to expose the enemies behind the door. Kill all enemies in the room behind the door and go through all the rooms. Once you move on to the third floor, you will get the “Wall Hax” achievement. Normally, if you did not shoot through that door, the enemies would shoot through it when Sgt. Madden (Alpha 3-2) walks behind it, and he would get downed. Note: It is easier to do this during mission replay once you are familiar with the mission layout.

Easy “Warheads On Foreheads” achievement

At the beginning of Mission 14: Into The Furnace, you are only allowed to use (shoot) the laser pointer until you reach the top of the hill. You will get the “Warheads On Foreheads” achievement when reaching the entrance door to the labs (just before going inside the building). You cannot shoot any of your weapons. Equip the laser pointer to request drone strikes. Your drone has unlimited ammo but takes a while to recharge. It is recommended to do this on the Recruit difficulty.

Easy “We Own The Night” achievement

In Mission 13: Going Dark, when you have to use a rope to repel down to a large open town area, there will be three marked main objectives. They are the Church, Clocktower, and Pool. You must kill all enemies in these three locations without them starting to shoot at you to get the “We Own The Night” achievement. Just kill everyone you see, and carefully go through the entire building. Also, increase the volume of your game so you can hear enemies talking or making other noises (using headphones helps to hear where the sounds are coming from). Since the enemies are roaming around and do not always stay in fixed places, it will slightly vary where they are. You will get the achievement as soon as you cleared out all enemies in those three locations. You do not have to complete the mission to unlock it. The big building in the middle where they hold Hadir can be ignored. If you get spotted, you can restart the checkpoint. Enemies are allowed to find corpses, but they cannot start shooting at you. The following is the number of enemies at each place and their locations:

    Clocktower: There are 10 enemies. Kill the two upstairs and the one at the barricaded back exit behind the building. The other seven are either inside or roaming in the yard or street.

    Church: There are 13 enemies. There are four on the left side, three on the right side, four inside, and two roaming the general area, often around the left side of the church but they can take a while to appear. On some playthroughs they were there when arriving at the church, but other times they only appeared after killing the other 11 enemies.

    Pool: There are 12 enemies. There are two at the fuse box behind the building, three inside the pool where the hostage is, one in the garden behind/below the pool house, and six outside/on roof/roaming the area.

    Trigger Discipline (50 points): Do not injure any civilians in ‘Piccadilly’.
    Play Dead (25 points): Kill all the enemies in the ‘Embedded’ field of dead bodies.
    Companion Block (40 points): Only use one cinder block and bring it to the end of ‘Embedded’.
    Wall Hax (25 points): Save Alpha 3-2 from being downed.
    Golden Path (50 points): Complete ‘Clean House’ without being hit using one bullet per threat.
    Love from Above (30 points): Destroy 4 trucks with 4 drone strikes before they reach the end of their path in ‘The Embassy’.
    Pit Stop (40 points): Stop three APCs with Hadir’s sniper rifle.
    Driver’s Ed (50 points): Shoot the driver of the suicide truck.
    Two Birds (25 points): Kill both soldiers with one shot in ‘Hometown’.
    Tunnel Rat (30 points): Complete ‘The Wolf’s Den’ tunnels using only the 1911.
    Dodged a Bullet (25 points): Never get hit by the sniper while escaping captivity.
    Got Something on Your Face (15 points): Spit on Barkov.
    Hot Swap (30 points): Get at least one kill with eight different weapons when completing ‘Old Comrades’.
    Lights Out (30 points): Shut off the power to 4 buildings in ‘Going Dark’.
    We Own the Night (50 points): Kill all enemies at the Church, Clocktower, and Pool without anyone calling for backup.
    Warheads on Foreheads (30 points): Reach Barkov’s lab entrance using only drone strikes.
    Circus Tour (30 points): Kill at least one enemy while inside The Reading Place, Aural Chic and both Subway undergrounds.

The following achievement require the “Special Operations” bonus downloadable content:

    Liberation (50 points): Complete all Special Ops missions.
