  • Scarescraper mode

    Successfully complete the "Visual Tricks" mission in Gloomy Manor to unlock Scarescraper mode.

  • Surprise mode

    Successfully complete Single Player Campaign mode, then complete each Scarescraper mode. Select the "Scarescraper" option at E. Gadd's bunker to unlock Surprise mode.

  • Bonus missions

    Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding mission:

      Gradual Infiltration: Capture all five Boos in "Gloomy Manor".
      Hostile Intrusion: Capture all five Boos in "Haunted Towers".
      Outlandish Interruption: Capture all five Boos in "Old Clockworks".
      Severe Infestation: Capture all three Boos in "Secret Mine".
      Terrifying Invasion: Capture all five Boos in "Treacherous Mansion".

  • Endless Scarescraper floors

    Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding floor:

      Hunter Endless: Successfully complete a Hunter mode in a 25 floor Scarescraper, then "Create A Scarescraper".
      Polterpup Endless: Successfully complete a Polterpup mode in a 25 floor Scarescraper, then "Create A Scarescraper".
      Rush Endless: Successfully complete a Rush mode in a 25 floor Scarescraper, then "Create A Scarescraper".
      Surprise Endless: Successfully complete a Surprise mode in a 25 floor Scarescraper, then "Create A Scarescraper".

  • Vault statues

    Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding statue:

      Luigi statue: Collect all the gems in Gloomy Manor.

  • Saved game file icons

    Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding E. Gadd medal:

      Medal #1: Successfully complete Dark Moon Quest mode.
      Medal #2: Get a 3 star rank in all missions in Dark Moon Quest mode.
      Medal #3: Successfully complete E. Gadd's Vault Room (all Boos, gems, and ghosts).

  • Golden file frame

    Obtain all three E. Gadd medals to change the saved game file frame to gold.

  • Boo locations

    Search the indicated locations to find all 23 Boos.

  • Gem locations

    Search the indicated locations to find all 65 gems.

  • Confused Luigi

    Tap A quickly a few times, and Luigi will face the screen and do a confused animation.

  • Spinning Luigi

    Stop moving, then rotate the Circle-pad a short time. After stopping, Luigi will do a stylish spin.
