Get a "Gold" rank in all Tier 1 competitions in Superstar Challenge mode to unlock the 1960's All-Star team.
Get a "Gold" rank in all Tier 2 competitions in Superstar Challenge mode to unlock the 1970's All-Star team.
Get a "Gold" rank in all Tier 3 competitions in Superstar Challenge mode to unlock the 1980's All-Star team.
Get a "Gold" rank in all Tier 4 competitions in Superstar Challenge mode to unlock the 1990's All-Star team.
At the "Roster Management" menu, go to "Sign/Release Players". Then, switch to the Free Agent side and press R. You will see legends such as Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlin.
