Easy Halos

Purchase Crow Within, Gaze Of Despair, and Selene’s Light from The Gates Of Hell. Collect Mida’s Testament from a chest found at the east side at the start of Chapter 10. Use Crow Within to fly over the gap to reach the chest. Exit and start the chapter again to farm at least 20 Mida’s Testaments. Equip Mida’s Testament to your item slot, and Gaze Of Despair and Selene’s Light to your accessory slot. Start Chapter 14 on the 2nd Climax difficulty or higher. Use Mida’s Testament in all Verses to keep your combo going as long as possible — and use Umbran Climax. Ignore the hits while keeping the combos going as long as possible. Repeat the process as many times as desired for easy Halos.

Depending on your skill level, it is possible to earn 2 to 3 million Halos every 5 to 10 minutes by completing Chapter 14: The Witch Hunts. It is recommended to play the chapter on the 3rd Climax or Infinite Climax difficulty to earn extra Halos for the harder difficulty. If you are able to keep a sustained combo and earn Platinum or Pure Platinum on each verse, you can earn just as many Halos or even more on the 3rd Climax difficulty compared to the Infinite Climax difficulty, with less effort. This is best done with Jeanne or Rosa, but you can also use Bayonetta. You will need the Bracelet Of Time and Gaze Of Despair accessories. Additionally, use Midas’ Testament to get even more Halos. Equip the Bracelet Of Time to enter Witch Time at any point at the cost of the magic meter. Make sure to have extra Purple Lollipops to sustain your magic meter. Gaze Of Despair causes enemies to instantly enter a berserk state. Equip the Bracelet Of Time right before using a combo to quickly finish off each enemy. Use simple combos and switch targets fast. To keep your combo going, use gun attacks between combos. Do the following in each verse of Chapter 14: The Witch Hunts:

Verse 1: Clear the area using the tips above. Keep your combo going to improve your magic meter refill rate, allowing you to stay in Witch Time longer and move quickly through this area.

Verse 2: Skip the flying enemies by boosting past them, and dodge their gunfire to regain your magic meter. Kill the enemies that spawn using the same methods described above. After killing two, a third will drop into the arena near the exit.

Verse 4: On the bridge, boost down the path to cause all enemies in the area to spawn. Cluster them up, then kill them all to keep your combo counter going. Do not knock them off the bridge. Use the Air Slam (Jump, Punch) to clear the path.

Verse 5: There is a Boss fight, and you may lose your combo counter during the fight. Enter Witch Time, and attack its head using the Punch + Punch + Punch, hold Punch combo to defeat him.

Verse 6: Only use gun attacks to shoot the vulnerable face. Hold Fire and dodge through its attacks.

Verse 7: There is another Boss fight. Use the same method as before. Dodge and shoot only with Witch Time activated.

Keep your combo going and earn Gold or Platinum on every verse while using the accessories listed above on the 3rd Climax difficulty or higher to earn 2 to 3 million Halos every 5 to 10 minutes.

Starting battles in Witch Time

Skipping cutscenes

After completing Story mode on any difficulty, you can skip any cutscene by pressing ZR + Minus (-), instead of having to use the pause menu.
