Love Shockers gang

Successfully complete all Shibuya-cho levels with a "Jet" rank to unlock the Love Shockers gang.

Noise Tank gang

Successfully complete all Benten-cho levels with a "Jet" rank to unlock the Noise Tank gang.

Poison Jam gang

Successfully complete all Kogane-cho levels with a "Jet" rank to unlock the Poison Jam gang.

Play as Cube/Combo

Successfully complete Chapter 1 to unlock Cube/Combo.

Play as Garam

Successfully complete all of Garam's challenges to unlock him.

Play as Goji Rokkaku

Unlock the Love Shockers, Noise Tank, and Poison Jam gangs, then successfully complete all the Grind City levels with a "Jet" rank to unlock Goji Rokkaku.

Play as Gum

Successfully complete all of Gum's challenges at the start of the game to unlock her.

Play as Mew

Successfully complete all the Benten-Cho levels. Mew will then challenge you. Win all three of her challenges to unlock her.

Play as Pots (the Dog)

First, unlock all the bonus characters (Love Shockers, Noise Tank, Poison Jam, and Goji). After completing the game, play the "Monster of Kogane" level before "Benten Boogie". After completing those levels, a Noise Tank will challenge you after Chapter 2. Defeat the Noise Tank Challenge to unlock Pots.

Play as Tab

Unlock Gum, then successfully complete the challenges Tab gives you to unlock him.

Play as Slate

Progress through Story mode until Slate challenges you to a race in Kogane-Cho. Defeat Slate to unlock him.

Play as Yo-Yo

Progress through Story mode until Yo-Yo challenges you. Successfully complete Yo-Yo's challenge to unlock him.

Play as any character in Grind Square

Successfully complete the game, then load a new game to play as any character in Grind Square.

Skate backward

While skating, press Down, Up.

Select characters faster

At the character selection screen, hold RB to cycle through the players faster.

Avatar Awards

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding Avatar Award:

Shirt: Unlock Gum and Tab.

Spray Can: Unlock Gum and Tab.

Achievements

Accomplish the indicated achievement to get the corresponding number of Gamerscore points:

Back to the future (10 points): Unlock all songs in the bonus menu.

Number one artist (20 points): Use all graffiti in missions.

A working senior (20 points): Unlock Goji and use him as a player character.

Dog runs too! (20 points): Unlock Pots and use him as a player character.

Love rules (10 points): Unlock Love Shockers and use her as a player character.

Noise music (10 points): Unlock Noise Tank and use him as a player character.

Behind the mask (10 points): Unlock unmasked Poison Jam.

Rise of Monsters (10 points): Unlock Poison Jam and use him as a player character.

I need a parachute (5 points): Fall more than 20 meters off a building.

Look behind (5 points): Perform a Turn Trick in game.

Unlock Garam (10 points): Unlock Garam and use him as a player character.

Cop sucks (10 points): Draw graffiti 5 times on Onishima's back.

King of the street (10 points): Complete all missions with any rating.

Feel the beat (5 points): Start game for the first time.

Tag you're it! (10 points): Tag out at least one rival gang member within 30 seconds.

Detached (20 points): Finish the game without anyone latching onto you with your first attempt.

Public menace (10 points): Make 100 civilians jump out of your way.

Scrapyard bully (5 points): Shove the two civilians in No.540 level before the choppers show up.

That's how we grind! (10 points): Perform a 100+ trick combo.

No Eyes in the Sky (10 points): Draw graffiti 5 times on Helicopters.

The gang's all here (20 points): Unlock all characters.

Remixes suck! (5 points): Complete a level without collecting a Recovery Spray Can.

I got Soul (50 points): Collect all Graffiti Souls.

When you're a Jet (50 points): Complete every level with Jet rating.

So creative (10 points): Create a graffiti in all sizes.

Paint the town red (10 points): Complete Chapter 3.

Second coat applied (10 points): Complete Chapter 2.

First coat applied (10 points): Complete Chapter 1.

Training wheels (10 points): Complete Tutorial.
