PS4 Firmware Update 2.50 Detailed, Out Today

Sony has announced on its blog that PS4 Firmware Update 2.50 is currently scheduled to hit consoles today. This important update is codenamed Yukimura and it adds several key features that fans have been waiting for.

One of the most notable of the new features is the long awaited suspend/resume function which allows you to jump in and out of games, set your console to Rest mode, and still resume your game as needed at any time. Trophy sync improvements have also been made better to allow players easy access their trophy lists without waiting for them all to load up. Constant updates are always good for business and it’s great to see that both Microsoft and Sony have been staying consistent with them. This lets fans know that their voices are being heard and both companies are committed to giving their supporters exactly what they want.
