Sure, everyone is raving about what we’ll hear from Sony and Microsoft during this year’s E3, and rightfully so, but let’s not forget about all of the developers who’ll be capitalizing on the event’s attention. With Square Enix’s line-up reveal still in our rear-view mirrors, developer Platinum Games—the minds behind the popular Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Bayonetta —have begun teasing their plans for E3.
Platinum Games JP “Kellams” has begun fanning the fires with a series of Tweets, the most promising of which reads, “In E3 news, if you are a PG fan, next week is going to be awesome.”
It’s no secret that Bayonetta 2 is currently in production, nor has PG been shy about The Wonderful 101 , so we’re sure to get some juicy details on the two. However, Platinum also has the come-from-behind Vanquish under their current-gen belt, so we certainly can’t rule out an abrupt next-gen IP announcement.
